The Power of God

The power of God, is a power that is unseen sometimes-
We can see the results of God's power, yet it baffles the mind-

How the forces that are at war, whether for us or against us we can be sure to see-
That as we trust the power of God, Christ within us we'll have the victory you and me-

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers unseen-
Wicked spiritual heavenly forces that wage war against us even in our dreams-

How can you fight what you can't see and then expect to win-
My brothers I believe it's best to make God's Holy Spirit our very best friend-

For this is God's power working within us to give us victory, to teach us and lead us the right way-
To give us the armor and power to protect us that we be able to stand our ground in that evil day-

For there is an hour of temptation that shall come upon the whole world-
To try them that dwell upon the earth, every man, woman, boy and girl-

Therefore let us put on the whole armor of God and ask Christ Jesus to take our hand-
So that on that evil day by the power of Christ, we will be able to stand-
