God
Shall Supply All Your Need, Part I
"And
my God shall supply all your need according to His riches
in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory
forever and ever." (1)
The life
of Jesus has shown what humanity can do by being a partaker
of the divine nature. All that Jesus received from God we
too may have. Jesus said, "Most assuredly, I say to you,
he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also;
and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My
Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that
the Father may be glorified in the Son." (2) "If
you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what
you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father
is glorified that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."
(3) "The Father Himself loves you, because you have loved
Me, and have believed that I came forth from God." (4)
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His
riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (5)
God's
purpose is to benefit and bless us, "And we know that
all things work together for good to those who love God."
(6) "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit
that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs--heirs
of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with
Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider
that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to
be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits
for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was
subjected to futility, not willingly,-- The creation itself
also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into
the glorious liberty of the children of God." (7)
"For
I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to
come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall
be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord... If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for
us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all
things?" (8)
"Now
to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen."
