In Your Presence Is Fullness Of Joy

"You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." (1)

There is "fullness of joy" in the presence of the Lord because He remembers and is faithful to His promises. "For He remembered His holy promise, and Abraham His servant. He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness. He gave them the lands of the Gentiles, and they inherited the labor of the nations, that they might observe His statutes and keep His laws. Praise the Lord!" (2)

In the Bible He shows us the path of life, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (3) "The path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day." (4) "Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left. Remove your foot from evil." (5)

His promises are for us and they are full of His blessing and benefits. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." (6) His future is full of hope for us.

In His presence there is joy and pleasures forevermore. Thank you God, for all that you share with us through the Scriptures and by your Holy Spirit.
