About the Author

George W. Brown was born in the Dominican Republic and is a graduate of Caribbean Union College, West Indies College, and Andrews University. During his forty years of service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Brown has served as pastor-evangelist, dean of men, youth director, educational director, college teacher, college president, division field secretary, and division president-serving for a number of years as president of the Inter-American Division. He has authored a wide range of articles in the Adventist Review, El Centinela, and The Ministry magazine. Portraits of Jesus is his first published book.

Now retired from active denominational service, George W. Brown lives in Florida, USA with his wife Carla (to whom this book is dedicated). They have four married daughters and four grandchildren. For relaxation, Pastor Brown enjoys jogging, gardening, and photography.
