EVERLASTING
LOVE!
"I
have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness
I have drawn you" (Jeremiah 31:3, NKJV).
God speaks
to us and shares His love with us through nature, through
the Bible, by His Holy Spirit, and by His opening providence's.
"Thy heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament
shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night
unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language
where their voice is not heard." "All Scripture
is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for
every good work." "The Holy Spirit, whom the Father
will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring
to your remembrance all things that I said to you." "Your
ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way,
walk in it,' whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever
you turn to the left"(Psalm 19:1-3; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17;
John 14:26; Isaiah 30:21).
God expresses
His love for us in many ways. John testified, "By this
we know love, because He laid down His life for us... Beloved,
let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone
who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love
does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God
was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten
Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this
is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent
His Son to be the propitiation [to make reconciliation] for
our sins... We love Him because He first loved us" (1
John 3:16; 4:7-10, 19).
Paul
wrote, "That Christ may dwell in your hearts through
faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be
able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and
length and depth and height-- to know the love of Christ which
passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness
of God" (Ephesians 3:17-19).
"I
am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities
nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height
nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate
us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord"
(Romans 8:38, 39).
In how
many ways with lovingkindness has He drawn us? Consider how
in many ways You Are Blessed.
