YOUR
CHILDREN SHALL BE TAUGHT
BY THE LORD
"All
your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall
be the peace of your children" (Isaiah 54:13, NKJV).
Jesus was
a teacher, preacher and healer, "And Jesus went about all
Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel
of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds
of disease among the people" (Matthew 4:23). Even some
of the rulers of the Jews recognized that Jesus was "a
teacher come from God" (John 3:2). Jesus applied these
words to Himself when He said, "It
is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by
God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the
Father comes to Me" (John 6:45).
All who
will have the opportunity to learn from the Master Teacher.
Christ has even commissioned a "Helper" to teach
us all things, "These things I
have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper,
the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He
will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all
things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace
I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid"
(John 14:25-27). In addition, He reaffirms that those who
listen and learn from the Holy Spirit will receive His peace.
We need not be troubled or afraid when under His protection.
We may
learn all that we ever need to know from our very Creator
Himself. In the Bible He tells us where we came from, why
we are here, and where we are going, and why. He has revealed
the past, and the future, and He has revealed Himself to us,
