HAVE
FAITH IN GOD
"Have
faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to
this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does
not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he
says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore
I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe
that you receive them, and you will have them" (Mark
11:22-24, NKJV).
The Bible
is full of prayer promises to those who have faith. "Whatever
you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be
glorified in the Sun. If you ask anything in My name, I will
do it" (John 14:13, 14). The disciple John spoke
with great plainness and assurance when he wrote, "Now
this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask
anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know
that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the
petitions that we have asked of Him" (I John 5:14, 14).
The prayers of those who believe and trust in God are answered.
"Without
faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to
God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of
those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6). "If
you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes"
(Mark 9:23). "Jesus looked at them and said to them,
'With men this is impossible, but with
God all things are possible' " (Matthew 19:26).
"With God nothing will be impossible" (Luke 1:37).
"Commit to the Lord all that you do, and your plans will
be fulfilled" (Proverbs 16:3, NEB).
With
the persevering faith of Abraham and the unyielding persistence
of Elijah, claim for yourself all that God has promised. Let
the promises of God possess your mind. Let your life be knit
by hidden links to the life of Jesus. He who is the Light
that lights every man coming into the world has commanded
the light to shine out of darkness. The Holy Spirit will take
the things of God and show them to you.
Fulfill
your dreams through an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.
With God, all things are possible. Without Him, you can do
nothing. "I am the vine, you are
the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much
fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (See
John 15:5).
"Have
faith in God... Whatever things you ask for when you pray,
believe that you receive them, and you will have them"
(Mark 11:22, 24).
